2021 Capital Streets Improvements Project

The project consists of improvements to 21st Street (from Palisade Avenue to New York Avenue), 28th Street (from John F. Kennedy Boulevard to Bergenline Avenue), 17th Street (Central Avenue to Summit Avenue), 12th Street (from Summit Avenue to Central Avenue), Summit Avenue (from 31st Street to 32nd Street), 44th Street (from John F. Kennedy Boulevard to Bergenline Avenue), 38th street (from Hudson Avenue to Park Avenue), and 24th Street (from Summit Avenue to Central Avenue). More specifically, work shall include the removal of existing curbs and sidewalks and select trees, construction and installation of new scored and stamped concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs, scored and stamped reinforced concrete driveways, installation of lighting foundations, shade trees, semi-circular granite block tree wells, reset window well grates, cellar door replacement, bollards, traffic markings, speed humps, painting various existing features, reset junction box frame and cover, full depth pavement repair, installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, upgrading inlets with bicycle safe grates and eco curb pieces, and HMA milling and paving.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
