Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for the project named below by the South Panola School District. B. Project Identification: 22051 South Panola Exterior Door Replacement. C. Contact regarding questions, email biddinginfo@dalepartners.com. 1. Project Locations: 209 Boothe Street, Batesville, Mississippi, 38606. a. Batesville Elementary School: 110 College Street, Batesville, MS 38606. b. Batesville Intermediate School: 200 College St, Batesville, MS 38606. c. Batesville Middle School: 509 Tiger Dr, Batesville, MS 38606. d. Batesville Junior High School: 507 Tiger Dr B, Batesville, MS 38606. e. South Panola High School: 601 Tiger Drive, Batesville, MS 38606. f. Pope School: 1110 Main Street, Pope, MS 38658. This project includes the removal and replacement of exterior doors throughout multiple campuses in South Panola. The new doors are to match the existing doors at the Batesville intermediate in finish, size, and material. All new doors will receive new hardware as indicated in the project documents. The project also includes the complete removal and replacement of an entire storefront system at the main entrance of Batesville Middle School. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the bidder as the Owner and Architect assume no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid envelope by any employee of the Owner or Architect. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute a contract and post Performance and Payment Bonds in the form and amount within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used , shall be payable to the Owner. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. B. The owner reserves the right to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to ninety (90) days. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work by Substantial Completion date of June 30, 2023. Work is subject to liquidated damages. BIDDERS QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
