2020 Home Construction

The City of Port Gibson will open sealed bids from qualified residential building contractors on behalf of three (3) homeowners in Port Gibson, MS. This project is funded by the Mississippi Home Corporation through a HOME Investment Partnership Grant. All bidders are required to submit a "Residential Builders License ", proof of insurance, and a completed Contractor's certification form prior to bidding. The bid should include two (2) reconstructions of stick homes, and the rehabilitation of one (1) stick home all located in Port Gibson, Mississippi. All units must be constructed according to Mississippi Home Corporation's HOME regulations and all local building codes. Construction of homes must be completed within 120 working days. Contract will be on a fixed price basis and will be awarded to the lowest and the best bidder. Bidders must comply with Section 3, of the HUD ACT of 1968. ENVELOPE SHOULD BE MARKED: BID FOR HOUSING CONSTRUCTION AND HAVE MISSISSIPPI CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF ENVELOPE. City of Port Gibson reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
