Description | Project Description: Renovation and expansion of existing 198,573 SF Laketran Headquarters in Painesville TWP, OH. This project adds additional bus parking (26,995 SF), additional maintenance service bay, and new office space (11,120 SF). Scope will include all structural, architectural, and MEP trades along with complete sitework construction package. ** Value is Opinion of Probable Construction Cost: $14,838,000 Alternate 1 Opinion of Probable Cost: $7,456,000 LAKETRAN seeks proposals from qualified firms for design, engineering, and construction management for expansion of Laketran Headquarters building and lot improvements. Laketran's overall goal for DBE participation is 5.17 percent. Proposal Bond, or Certified or Cashiers Check Not Required. Performance Bond Not Required. Laketran reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, and any parts of any proposal. In awarding a contract, Laketran reserves the right to consider all elements entering into the question of determining the responsibility of the Proposer. Any proposal which is incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contains additions not called for, or irregularities of any kind, may be cause for rejection of the proposal. In case of any discrepancy between the price written in the proposal and that given in figures for any item, the price in writing will be considered as the proposal price. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. |
