Description

Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company (with the names of all parties interested therein) submitting said bid and shall be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank, or a bid bond, in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into in the proper manner in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. The check of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the contracting authority immediately upon awarding the contract or rejection of all bids. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to award of this contract. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labour in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Trumbull County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The attention of the bidders is directed to the requirement that each proposal must be accompanied by a Non- Collusion Affidavit duly signed by the bidder. The Village of Lords town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to delete any part of the proposal herein.
