Description | The work under this project consists of the replacement of all interior electrical equipment, pumps, and piping. JCSA is to provide pump package. Roofing, wet well piping, relocation of exhaust fan, core drilling of the wet well is also included in this project. All PLC programming and SCADA System programming will be performed by JCSAs programming specialist, E-Merge Systems, Inc. Question Deadline 05/11/2023 at 12:00 PM ET The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive informalities in the Bid, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should Bid exceed available funds. Bid Security in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Performance and Payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract will be required by the Owner prior to Contract Award. The cost of bonds is to be included with the bid price. All firms located in the County of James City are required to be licensed in accordance with the Countys BUSINESS, Professional, and Occupational Licensing (BPOL) Tax Ordinance. Questions concerning the BPOL Tax should be directed to the Office of the Commissioner of Revenue at (757) 253-6698. Work shall be completed 120 Days after start date listed on Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP shall be issued after material receipt. Once project is awarded Contractor can proceed with purchasing materials. Notice to Proceed for construction will be based on material acquisition lead times and Contractor/Owner negotiations to facilitate construction schedule. |
