2022 Capital Paving Project

The City of Doraville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for 2022 Street Resurfacing for the Department of Public Works. The contractor must self-perform tasks constituting a minimum of (50%) of the value of the contract. Work will be done in accordance with the GDOT's Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications, and Pay Items Index as standards and specifications for the construction and completion of the work required, except as noted or directed by the Engineer. Please refer to the Bid documents for specifics of the proposed constructions. All questions or requests for clarification must be sent via e-mail only to Chris.lafleur@doravillega.us. Questions are due no later than Monday May 23, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. EST. Questions received after this date and time may not be answered. All Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond, or a certified check made payable to the City of Doraville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The Bid Bond or certified check must be enclosed in the envelope with the sealed bid. The awarded bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100% of the total amount bid and provide insurance coverage as required by the contract documents The City of Doraville reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Doraville
