2022 Street Improvement Project - Peppernut Lane Pre-bid Meeting: No Peppernut Lane Reconstruction - 1445 LF of reconstruction of Peppernut lane with the scope of work as follows: - Widening to 24' of total width using imported fill material and compaction of existing/proposed subgrade. - Grade to drain - Scarify existing subgrade to 8", moisture condition and compact - Installation of 6" of ODOT Type A aggregate base - Installation of 2" of Type S4 Asphalt Concrete Pavement - Installation of 3" of Type S3 Asphalt Concrete Pavement - Erosion Control & permanent grassing as required - All construction to comply with the City if Durant's Code of Ordinance (97.045) and (97.046) The work shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the authorized starting date. Liquidated damages are established at $1,200.00 per day. The bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, which shall be deposited with the awarding public agency as a guaranty. Performance bond to the Full Amount of the Contract Price. Statutory Public Works Bond for payment of all labor and materials used in the construction of such improvements in the Full Amount of the Contract Price. One (1) year Maintenance Bond to the Full Amount of the Contract Price.
