Description | In order to participate in this bid you must submit your responses electronically through this eBid system. No paper bids will be accepted. The University of Nebraska is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor to complete the following scope of work: The East Campus improvements are located between the Nebraska East Union (NEU), Massengale Residential Center (MRC), Dinsdale Family Learning Commons (DINS), Food Industry Complex (FOOD), Filley Hall (FYH), Agricultural Communications Building (ACB), and Entomology Hall (ENTO). The project provides universal access and open space enhancements at the south side of NEU and Dairy Store. Hardscape terraces, site walls, lighting, and power provisions provide additional campus amenities and programmable spaces. A permeable parking court provides parking for Dairy Store patrons. The project creates a turn-around between the NEU dock and MRC to accommodate semi-truck access and temporary residential hall parking. The Nebraska East Union (NEU) dock is expanded to better serve truck access and a few staff parking stalls. Pedestrian improvements at Center Street provide accessible access across the street and from the northeast corner of the NEU. Universal circulation and grading enhancements are provided throughout the campus quad. Overall landscape and irrigation enhancements are provided. Former sculptures are relocated onto new or modified plinths.
