Description | PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SERVICES REQUESTED The Professional Services Contractor (PSC) is to provide design services for Phases 400, 500, 600 and 700. Provide all services necessary to replace the existing interior / exterior bubble gates with new interior / exterior sliding gates with controls / interlocking system. Also included are additional doors to be interlocked from the control center (refer to floor plan provided.) It is a requirement that the removal of the gates be constructed to allow one of the gates to always be in place to continue to provide security. The selected PSC will be required to use Allied Universal Technology Services as a consultant for the technology / security portion of the work. Your proposal should include: Cost estimate for proposed work. 50 and 90% reviews with probable cost estimates for Phases 400 and 500. Revit / AutoCAD files will be provided for the connection point to the existing building. The PSC will be responsible for leading the construction progress meetings which will take place twice a month on site for the duration of the work. Meeting minutes will also be required to be sent out within 7 - 10 days after the meeting DESIRED SCHEDULE OF WORK - Construction documents to be completed by mid-summer with construction award in early fall 2022. LEIN Check (Department of Corrections ONLY) All contractor / vendor representatives attending Preproposal Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor / Contractor LEIN Request form five business days prior to the meeting date (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request Form). Send the LEIN Request form, filled and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith at email address: smithD76@michigan.gov . The email "Subject" must include (facility name, project name, date and time of Pre-Proposal Walk Through Meeting). |
