Description | At that time, representatives of the City of Burnsville will open the bids publicly and post the results. Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities: 2,800 CY Select Granular 6,100 CY Common Excavation 6,800 SY Reclaim/Remove Bituminous 2,600 TON Bituminous Pavement 4,000 SY 3" Bituminous Trail 2,400 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter 2,000 SF 6" Concrete Walk 7,500 SY Turf Restoration. Bidders can also view the Contract Documents at either website free of charge. For this project we will accept only online electronic bids through QuestCDN. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety 2000 using contract # 8227307. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Council will consider such bids in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022. |
