Description

Provide all labor, materials and equipment fort he refresh of Room 120 in Building Z, located at 4900 Conant St., Long Beach, CA 90808, including but not limited to, demolition of existing casework and cabinets, painting, carpetinstallation, and removal and replacement of rolling shades, per bid plans and specifications. A District allowance amount of $10,000 must be added to your Bid Proposal Amount. See bid form for more information. Question Deadline 07/26/2022 at 10:00 AM PT All questions are to be submitted electronically Bidders are solely and exclusively responsible for submitting such inquiries or clarification requests no later than deadline. The District will not respond to any bidder inquiries or clarification requests, unless such inquiries or clarification requests are timely submitted via electronically. At the time bids are submitted, each Bidder shall possess a valid Class B contractors license and must maintain the license(s) throughout the duration of the project. All designated subcontractors will also be required to have current and active CSLB licenses at the time of submission of the bid and throughout the duration of the project. Pursuantto Labor Code 1725.5. each Contractor and all subcontractors identified in a Contractor ssubcontractors list,submitting a proposal to complete the work, labor,materials and/or services must be a Department of Industrial Relations Registered Contractor. A bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when submitting a proposal for the work is deemed not qualified and the proposal of such a bidder will be rejected for non-responsiveness. Information regarding the DIR can be found at electronically. A bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of your bid amount must be submitted along with your bid submission. Please hold on to your original Bid Bond as District may ask for a hard copy Pursuant to California Labor Code 1771.4(a)(4) the work is subject to payment of Prevailing Wage Rates. Every Contractor and all Subcontractors of every tier, performing any portion of the work, shall pay laborers not less than the Prevailing Wage Rate established for the labor provided. Prevailing Wage monitoring and enforcement shall be by the Department of Industrial Relations. Prevailing Wage determination can be found at electronically.
