Description

For Annual Requirements for Generator Maintenance Services The City of Bristol is accepting bids for the provision of maintenance and service for generators and associated equipment, for the period through March 31, 2025. The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide maintenance services. Including all inspections, adjustments, tests, part replacements, and repairs to keep generators covered under this contract available when needed, at their established capacities and efficiencies. Upgrading of equipment is not within the scope of this specification. Any changes or alterations will require authorization from the City of Bristol. It is assumed that annual inspection and maintenance visits per unit shall include any parts, filters, belts, fluids monitoring, coolant replenishment/ replacement, and oil changes required to ensure normal operation. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in any submission, to reject any and/or all submissions, and to accept the proposal(s) that in its judgment is in its best interest. The awarded firm will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. No bid bond is required for submission of a bid. Failure of a Contractor to perform services as specified will constitute authority for the City of Bristol to pursue the services on the open market. The Contractor shall agree to promptly reimburse the City for the costs of such services Interested firms are required to submit an original copy via digital media of bid documents by the date and time noted above.
