| Description | The Base Bid of the project consists of the rehabilitation of the runway edge lighting system, installation of conduit and lighting cables, conduit installation and replacement of lighting cables for existing NAVAID equipment (Runway 4 PAPI, Runway 22 PAPI, and Wind Cone), and installation of associated electrical equipment. Work for the Base Bid includes: maintenance and protection of traffic; safety and phasing compliance; installation of medium intensity LED runway edge lights, cable, and conduit; conduit excavation; horizontal directional drilling, terminal building electrical equipment; L-821 airport lighting control panel installation, electrical manholes/junction structures; and other ancillary work. Add Alternate No. 1 consists of the installation of new Runway End Identifier Lights (REILs) serving Runway 4 and Runway 22. Work for Add Alternate No. 1 includes: installation of LED Unidirectional REIL units, Omnidirectional REIL units, conduit excavation, installation of cable and conduit; and installation of new concrete foundations. |
