Town Road Reconstruction

The Town of Rock Creek, Dunn County, Wisconsin is seeking bids for reconstruction or overlay of several town road projects as listed below. Project 1 Crack Sealing and Chip Coat 150th Avenue from CTH O to 810th Street. Total project length approximately 7920 feet. Project is to include the following: 1. Crack sealing only from CTH O west to 890th Street, approximately 2640 feet. 2. Double chip and seal coat from 890th Street west to 880th Street, approximately 1320 feet by 20 feet wide 3. Crack sealing only from 880th Street west to 850th Street, approximately 3960 feet. 90th Avenue from 1010th Street east to CTH H. Total project length approximately 10560 feet. Project is to include the following: 1. Crack sealing only from 1010th Street east to CTH H. Total project length approximately 10560 feet 1010th Street from 140th Avenue north to 190th Street. Total project length approximately 6600 feet. 1. Single chip and seal coat, approximately 6600 feet in length by 20 feet wide. Project 2 Pulverize and Repave 110th Avenue from 1010th Street west to 1000th Street. Total project length approximately 1320 feet. Project is to include the following: 1. Preparation of roadway subgrade. Prepare 27 feet wide road base with adequately safe side slopes, ditches, and drainage control. Seeding and mulching of disturbed soils. Lump sum bid required for this item. 2. Pulverization of existing pavement (existing pavement approximately 2" thickness). Approximately, 3000 square yards required. 3. Additional crushed limestone base course added to create a total thickness of 6 inches of base course, compacted. Approximately, 800 tons required. 4. Machine compaction, watering, and fine grading of road base. Incidental to Item 3. 5. Placement of asphaltic pavement, 2.5" compacted thickness, 20 feet wide. Approximately 460 tons required. 6. 2 feet wide crushed limestone shoulders compacted. Approximately, 125 tons of gravel required. 7. Milling of joints at west end of project. Approximately, 20 linear feet. Incidental to Item 2. Project 3 2 thick Asphaltic Overlay 140th Avenue from 1000th Street east to county line. Total project length approximately 1320 feet. Project is to include the following: 1. Placement of asphaltic pavement with binder, 2.0 compacted thickness, 20 feet wide. Approximately 370 tons required. 2. 2 feet wide crushed limestone shoulders compacted. Approximately, 125 tons of gravel required. 3. Milling of joints at east end of project. Approximately, 20 linear feet. Incidental to Item 2. Project 4 2 thick Asphaltic Overlay 1000th Street from 90th Avenue north to 110th Avenue. Total project length approximately 2640 feet. Project is to include the following: 1. Placement of asphaltic pavement with binder, 2.0 compacted thickness, 20 feet wide. Approximately 740 tons required. 2. 2 feet wide crushed limestone shoulders compacted. Approximately, 250 tons of gravel required. 3. Milling of joints at each end of project. Approximately, 40 linear feet. Incidental to Item 2. Please provide individual bids for each project using the following unit prices: 1. Asphalt paving: Tons 2. Crushed limestone base: Tons 3. Crushed limestone shoulders: Tons 4. Pulverization of existing pavement: Square Yards 5. Preparation of roadway subgrade: Lump Sum 6. Crack sealing and chip coat Lump Sum ALSO, provide an estimated total for all segments as a single project using the above units. Final cost paid to be determined by units used times unit prices bid.
