Administration Building Concrete Replacement

Remove and dispose of exiting concrete approximately 1,800 square feet of sidewalks, ramps and steps, as well as 80 linear feet of curbing. Remove cut trees and their roots in their entirety. Remove curbing at new ADA ramps in their entirety (cutting is not permitted). Curb removal where sidewalk is not removed, contractor must account for concrete replacement or asphalt replacement in the proposal, IAW code requirements. The contractor must obtain a special street opening permit for asphalt cutting in municipal roadways. Compact subgrade and return aggregate to 4” minimum depth of 2A stone. Install four (4) 4” PVC schedule 40 sleeves, twelve inches in length at locations designated by the municipality. Replace removed curbing, sidewalks, ramps, stairs and railings per technical specifications, code requirements, drawings and details. Concrete designated for removal only will be saw cut parallel with adjacent concrete sidewalks. All concrete cuts must be strung and cut, neat, straight, plumb, square and flush. Concrete designated for grinding will be 4” wide slope from existing pad to adjacent pads. Ground concrete areas will be uniform and sloped evenly around the entire ground area to adjacent pad.
