Bradenton-Palmetto Connector

All activities encompassed by this Scope of Services include: Major work groups include: 2.0 PD&E Studies Minor work groups include: 3.2 Major Highway Design, 4.2.1 Major Bridge Design - Concrete, 6.1 Minor Highway Design This study will evaluate corridors and alternatives to address regional congestion within Manatee County, between the cities of Bradenton and Palmetto. These corridors/alternatives may include a new bridge crossing of the Manatee River. The project will be executed in two phases. The initial phase will be an Alternatives Corridor Evaluation or ACE. The second phase will be the PD&E study, assumed at this time to be an Environmental Assessment or EA. All PD&E activities will be initially be included in Optional Services, pending the completion of the ACE.
