Description

Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) is requesting bids from qualified contractors to construct concrete pads and install conduits and low voltage conductors at our Ryan Administration Building location at 201 N. Kansas Avenue in Topeka, KS. This project is in preparation for some electrical work to be conducted by Evergy. Evergy will need to approve the concrete pad location sites, the condition and dimensions of the concrete pads, and the conduit opening conditions and dimensions . This is a single-job contract. Davis-Bacon reporting requirements must be completed each week. The most recent DavisBacon wage rates for building projects in the State of Kansas are attached (Appendix I). The contractor is responsible for complying with Davis-Bacon wage rates and postings as required. The worksite posting is attached (Appendix II). Contract must be complete April 1, 2023. Allowances for obtaining permits and tax-exempt certificates, processing change orders and rain delays have been incorporated into the schedule.
