Description

The accumulation period at Building 312 does not exceed 90 days for hazardous wastes. NIST requires a licensed/permitted contractor to: pick up wastes from satellite accumulation areas on the NIST Gaithersburg Site, consolidate, pack and transport wastes, perform the functions of treatment, storage, disposal and recycling of wastes at the contractor’s facilities in accordance with applicable local, state, federal codes, statutes, and regulations, and perform emergency response services and other specialty services
