Description

The project area consists of the property known as Bartlett Beach, which is located at 150 Winnisquam Avenue and owned by the City of Laconia (Parcel No. 451-245-10). Presently storm water runoff in the immediate vicinity is causing erosion that is creating rills and wasting of the beach area. This work proposes to: 1. Reduce the size of and regrade the existing gravel parking area so that it sheds away from the lake; 2. Install a storm water conveyance system to better manage storm water runoff from the site causing erosion of the sand beach area. This system is designed to treat a portion of the “first flush” of rain events; 3. To enhance the wetland buffer with tree plantings; and 4. To make landscaping improvements to the beach area
