2019-2020 Snowplowing

1. Twp. Hall Parking Lot/Fire Dept.: Removal when snow is 4”, removal of snow at the Fire Dept. entry and overhead doors is a MUST. Snow must be completely removed from the parking area and around the Flag Pole. When snow accumulates, it should be pushed back onto the lawn area to gain additional parking space, using care not to cause lawn damage. The sidewalk must be shoveled and salted. YOU MUST REPAIR ANY DAMAGED SOD at the end of the season. 2. Weesaw and Glendora Cemeteries: Removal when snow is 6”, or Cemetery Sexton requests removal for a burial. Take care not to scrape crown of driveways. YOU MUST REPAIR ANY DAMAGED SOD at the end of the season. 4. Mill Road Park: Removal when snow is 6”. YOU MUST REPAIR ANY DAMAGED SOD at the end of the season. 5. Old New Troy School Parking Lot (California Rd.): Removal when snow is 4”. One-half of this parking lot is owned by Weesaw Township and the other half is owned by the Friends of New Troy (13372 California Rd., P.O. Box 125, New Troy 49119). The cost of snowplowing the paved portion only of the parking lot is to be split in half – Weesaw Township to pay one-half of the cost and the Friends of New Troy to pay the other half of the cost.
