Replacement generator at the Public Works Garage at 3909 South Lindbergh, Saint Louis Missouri, 63127. Work will include the complete removal and replacement of the generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) at Public Works Garage. The old Generator will remain with the city after removal. The Bidder will coordinate with the City if the existing concrete pad has to be modified to fit the footprint of the new generator. Reusing existing conduits. A complete installation & startup of this unit will be required to train City personnel on this unit including any maintenance items or programming. This generator shall be comparable to a Kohler 20REOZK diesel or GENERAC RD020. The generator shall be a minimum of a 20KW water-cooled diesel engine with a new 100 amp minimum transfer switch with a digital indoor/outdoor controller. Generator shall have weatherproof housing that is also sound attenuated with removable locking doors. Unit shall have all vibration isolators to keep vibration and noise at a minimum. A 70 maximum decibel level allowed. The outer enclosure shall be painted beige or light brown in color. The engine shall have a minimum of a 1000 watt 120 volt block heater installed. Also must have a self contained sub base diesel fuel tank that is capable of running the generator at least 20 hours at 75% load.
