Pond 4 And Pond 6 Maintenance and Upgrades Project

The project site is the Horry County Solid Waste Authority Landfill Facility located at 1886 SC Highway 90 approximately 5 miles southeast of Conway, South Carolina. The project consists of labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete: • Temporary erosion and sedmentation controls, site preparation, and dewatering of two existing stormwater detention basins. • Excavation of existing rock dam outlet materials from Pond 4 and Pond 6 and stockpiling in owner-designated location. • Excavation of accumulated sediments and stockpiling on Class Three landfill. • Installation of new riser structure, outlet pipe, and filter diaphragm at Pond 4 and Pond 6. • Install approximately 8,000 cy backfill from owner-provided onsite borrow area to raise existing pond embankments. • Site restoration and seeding.
