Description

3 Bedroom Insurance Rebuild - 2022 for the Housing Authority for the City of Shawnee Ofces located 601 W. 7th Street Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801 The HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE will receive sealed bid proposals until the date and time stated above for the BID of the 3 Bedroom Insurance Rebuild at 901/903 West 7th Street located on Project 95-1 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Bid will include all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to accomplish the described work as defined in the BID DOCUMENTS for the Shawnee Housing Author-ity located in Shawnee, Oklahoma. A Bid guarantee issued to the Housing Authority OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. Each bidder shall complete the Noncollusive Afdavit, Certification of Bidder regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, Certification of Bidder regard-ing Nonsegregated Facilities, Statement of Bidders Relationship, Bidder's Qualifications, representative/certificates/other statements of Bidders and submit them along with Contractors bid for performing the work and Bid Security in the bid package. The other documents (Form of Contract, Sec-tion 3 Clause, etc.) will be required if you, as the Contractor, in fact, are the accepted bidder on the project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for statutory pay-ment, performance and defect bond or bonds or other acceptable forms of performance guarantee. Any addenda issued during the time prior to bidding are to be acknowledged in the proposal and in closing a contract, they will become a part thereof. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and to reject a bid not accompanied by required bid security, or other data required to be submitted with the bid, or to reject a bid which is in any way incom-plete, irregular or non-conforming. It is the intent of the Housing Authority to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder provided the bid does not exceed the funds available. The Housing Authority shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bids and to accept the bid that, in its judgment, is in its own best interest. Attention is called to the provisions of equal opportunity and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the bidders packet. This contract is subject to the conditions of Executive Order 11246, which prohibits discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin on federal or federally assisted construction contracts. In-structions relative to compliance with Executive Order 11246 and Section 3 will be given at the pre-bid conference. This contract also is subject to the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority.
