Granite and Concrete Curbing Installation for FY23

The Town of Holliston is seeking sealed bids to provide labor and materials for Granite and Concrete Curbing Installations and Gravel for Sidewalks. The Town will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids as determined to be in the best interests of the Town. Unless sooner rejected or accepted, all bid proposals must be firm and continue in effect for ninety (90) calendar days following the date of bid opening. CURBING: The curbing shall be measured by the linear foot along the completed exposed face of the curb, installed and accepted. Payment will be made at the unit price bid per linear foot for curbing, and will be full compensation for all material, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the work, including precast curb (straight and curved), grouting, concrete fill in front of curb, grade control, driveway and ramp sections, and all else necessary to complete the work. GRAVEL BORROW: Gravel borrow shall be measured by the cubic yard. If weight slips are available, the weight shall be converted to cubic yards based on one cubic foot of gravel weighing 120 lbs. Payment will be made at the unit bid price per cubic yard for gravel borrow, and will be full compensation for all material, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the work, including preparing subgrade, placing gravel to grade, compacting, and any related work necessary to complete the work. CLEARING & GRUBBING: Clearing and grubbing shall be measured by the square yard. Payment will be made at the unit bid price per square yard and will be full compensation for all material, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the work. Work under this proposal will be performed during fiscal year 2023, from July 1, 2022 until June 30, 2023. The successful Bidder must enter into the Town's Standard Form Agreement, attached hereto.
