The 32,000-square-foot building at 368 Sycamore St. on Buffalo’s East Side will host Bitwise programs, including classrooms for training tech workers, offices for its software development company and spaces for ancillary services such as child care. Jemal bought the building on spec earlier this year. It is his first acquisition on the East Side, though he has expressed interest in redeveloping the Central Terminal. ______________ Plans call for improvement at the Broadway Market include new entrances, restoring the parking ramp and outfitting it with electrical vehicle charging stations, new interior lighting, painting, signage and new kitchen equipment for vendors. Other plans include infrastructure and streetscape improvements and connectivity between the Terminal and Broadway Market. As of January 21, 2022, this project is part of the New York state's Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
