Description | The proposal shall include the purchase and installation of interior and outdoor IP-based security cameras and compatible NVR or cloud-based NVR service. The purpose of this proposal is to provide the library branch with a sufficient view of the interior and exterior activities of the facility to ensure the safety and security of its customers and the facility and to provide a digital record of these activities that can be reviewed as needed by staff. Acts of theft, property damage or personal injury sometimes require MCL to provide digital records of activities as documentation for law enforcement and insurance agencies. The system will allow staff to adjust internal camera views via computer as needed. Outdoor camera installation, with number and type of cameras to be proposed by the bidder Indoor camera installation, with number, placement, and type of cameras to be proposed by the bidder. PTZ support is required for indoor cameras. Cameras should default to cover the zones on the attached image: 1. Coverage of the children and family area 2. Coverage of the service desk 3. Coverage of the inside of the front entrance 4. Coverage of the self-checks and first bank of public computers Note locations marked 2-9 have existing copper ethernet cable with RJ45 terminations. Existing external cameras are marked with red arrows. The lone existing location on the west external wall has copper ethernet cable with RJ45 termination. Re-use of existing cabling is preferred. 5. Coverage of the print/copy area along with 2 nd bank of public computers 6. Coverage of the study rooms, back exit, stacks 7. Coverage of 3 rd bank of public computers 8. Coverage of back corner 9.
