Description

The work to be performed under this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be performed utilizing this Statement of Work (SOW) contained therein. This is a design-build requirement for modifications to building 1134, 1142, fire hydrants, fire sprinkler system deficiencies, and addition overhang between 1141 and 1144. All work and design shall be performed in-accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Case 96-315, Value Engineering, and are to minimize government cost and not performed unrequired work. The Contractor and/or theirs Sub-Contractor(s) must submit with their proposal(s), descriptions for their work/task(s) and/or proposed work/task(s) for the government to review. The descriptions must be clearly written so the government can review/compare to the SOW. The government list of qualities founded in the SOW, are strictly estimated amounts, used by the government to prepare an independent government estimate (IGE), the contractor shall determine qualities base on their evaluation and analysis. The contractor proposal shall include enough information so the government can determine their labor hours, equipment, and material quantities, and material /equipment type(s), proposed will meet the requirements of the SOW. If the contractor plans to propose something that exceeds and/or reduce the government SOW requirements, it must be clearly indicated in their proposal. If available, it is recommended that the equipment installation manuals be utilized (reference) in the proposals by the Contractor and/or theirs SubContractor(s). 1.2 Services Required: Design services shall develop a comprehensive design documents which identifies the necessary requirements for CEMIRT compound area facilities and site in compliant with UFCs, NFPA, Life Safety, and ADA compliant. The Contractor shall install/construct a complete and useable system.
