Description

General Installation: The contractor shall prep existing floor and furnish and install commercial grade, slip resistant urethane mortar 3/8 thick (Tennant Eco-Crete HF or equal) across the entire area. Contractor shall use the same material or equal as a cove base up to six inches up the walls. New flooring shall slope to existing drains. Floor joints shall be sealed with a chemical resistant polyurea joint sealant. After material is cured the floor shall be locked coat with a cementitious urethane to leave a medium slip-resistant texture. Equal characteristics: 3/8 inch thickness, thermal shock resistance up to 250 degrees, compressive strength up to 7800 pounds per square inch, chemical resistant, solvent free, non-skid floor profile and five year warranty against defects. Storage of all materials and tools related to the installation of all facilities is the responsibility of the contractor. The Government shall not provide a facility during the course of this contract to bulk-store contractor-provided material.
