Description

Description of Work: (a) The proposed work is officially known as Section 22-00000-00-GM. (b) The proposed improvement consists of: Group 1: Bituminous Surface Treatment, A-1 3. Instructions to Bidders: (a) Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by Village of Ashkum, which may be obtained at the office of Robinson Engineering, Ltd, 125 Mooney Drive, Suite 1, Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914. (b) A proposal guarantee by bank cashier's check, certified check or proposal bid bond in accordance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation adopted January 1, 2022, will be required. (c) A surety bond for the full amount of the award will be required. 4. The "prevailing rate of wages" as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall apply to this project. 5. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
