Business Services HVAC Replacement Project

Goal: 10% The work associated with the project primarily includes replacing the failed multi-zone air handling unit in the penthouse serving the second floor of the building. The new air handling unit shall be connected to the building’s existing heating hot water system for heating and shall be provided with a new air-cooled condenser for cooling. Removal and replacement of a select portion of the existing single-ply EPDM membrane roofing system as required for installation of new roof curbs supporting the air-cooled condenser is included in the scope of the work. The building’s existing DDC system is antiquated, and a new stand-alone system shall be provided as part of the project to control the new air handling unit and allow for future expansion and flexibility. All demolished and new equipment shall be required to exit and enter the third-floor penthouse through the existing 6’-0” wide x 7’-0” double doors located on the roof.
