Blue Cross Arena Ice Floor Improvements Furnish and Install

1.1 It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for material and installation of Blue Cross Arena Ice Floor. Supplies including Deck Ice Rink Cover, HC Synthetic Stage Decking, Decking Panels, Waffle Panels and Solid Panels. Project Description: The project site improvements include modification to an existing ice rink dimensions of 200’ long x 85’ wide x 28’ radius for a total of 17, 000 sq./ft. 1.2 The primary users of this contract will be the Building Services Division; however, other Departments and/or Divisions may utilize the contract. 1.3 This contract includes incentives for utilizing qualified City residents as employees of the contractor and/or any subcontractors. 1.4 Bidders should carefully review the insurance 15, and must certify on the proposal that they have the insurance specified. 1.5 Standard Work Description 1.5.1 Demolition 1.5.1.1 (Prices to include demolition and removal from site, cleanup, temporary protection of existing surfaces, signs and equipment rentals) 1.5.1.2 Remove existing panels. 1.5.1.3 Remove existing decking. 1.5.1.4 Demolition of existing decking panels and install new decking panels and fast track coat to material. 1.5.1.5 Demolition of existing panels and install new solid panels and panels of waffles. 1.5.2 Furnish and Install (Provide a cost to furnish and install the following assemblies or components. Installations may require modifications on a case-by-case basis. 1.5.3 Prices to include all various types of waffles panels, HC synthetic stage decking, new decking panels and fast track coat to material, new solid panels and panels of waffles, and / or other incidental components). 1.6 Item Product: 75 Sheets of the following: 2.5 HC Synthetic Stage Decking, Decking Panels are 2.5” x 48” x 96” – Approx. 75# / Panel, Model: PP1-10.00-NL-UV-8.00-32-T-N, Density 10# / CU FT. Base Bid should also include the following: 530 Waffle Panels 48” x 96” x 1”, 10 Solid Panels size 48” x 96” x “ for Loading Areas, Supervised Installation. Optional Pricing: Option #1: Attic Stock – 1” Waffle Bottom, Each Additional Waffle Panels Size 48” X 96” X 1” for Attic Stock, Attic Stock Must Be Ordered With Full Rink to Include Shipping, 20 – 30 Panels of Waffle Bottom Attic Stock.
