Description

College of The Albemarle is seeking a qualified firm to provide a proposal for development of the colleges seven-year master plan. The master plan will cover all 4 of the colleges locations. Pricing shall be broken down to per campus. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the main campus in Elizabeth City, NC. The firm will be responsible to visit the other locations if they desire. These visits need to be set up through the Chief Operations Officers office. COA is the oldest community college in North Carolina. COA serves a seven county area comprised of Pasquotank, Camden, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Perquimans, and Chowan. The main campus is located in Elizabeth City, NC (Pasquotank County) with remote campuses in Dare, Currituck and Chowan. COA is a two-year open door institution, offering both degree and non-degree programs. COA serves a diverse body of students varying in age, ethnicity, academic preparedness and ambitions. COA employs over 186 full time faculty and staff with an additional 140-part time faculty. COA provides an excellent combination of transfer, business and technical programs, plus non-credit continuing education opportunities. COA serves Early College High Schools at the Elizabeth City campus.
