South Parking Lot Resurfacing Liberty CUSD #2

Description of work: HMA surface removal, full depth pavement removal, HMA resurfacing, pavement striping and other miscellane-ous work. Additional Doc Acq Note: The issuing office for the Bidding Documents is: Klingner & Associates, P.C., 616 N. 24th Street, Quincy, IL. Bidders are strongly encouraged to register online as a Prime Bidder or Sub-Contractor to ensure timely receipt of bidding documents and notices relative to this bid and be listed as a plan holder. The Owner and Engineer are NOT responsible for any incompleteness of bidding documents made available from sources other than klingnerplanroom. Printing and shipping fees for hard copies are the responsibility of the Contractor. There is no charge for bidding documents provided in Adobe PDF format. Technical questions regarding interpretations of the bidding documents shall be directed to Cullan Duke of Klingner & Associates PC at 217-223-3670; dcd@klingner.com NOT City Blue Technologies. A pre-bidding meeting will be not held for this project. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Liberty CUSD #2 School District or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Libety CUSD #2 School District for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Liberty CUSD #2 School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract. Bids may be held by the Liberty CUSD #2 School Disrict for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
