Airport Tree Clearing

Tree removal and partial grubbing and clearing in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation 1. The Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY) is seeking bids for tree removal and partial grubbing and clearing 2. Attached are the Bid Plans and the approval for work inside of / alongside wetlands 3. SBY is requesting two separate bid amounts: 1. One that encompasses all the work highlighted in the green and blue boxes 2. One that encompasses clearing and grubbing per acre 4. Remove all obstructions (trees) in the aircraft operating area to allow for the construction of a security fence. The secondary goal of this project is to clear and grub all areas to facilitate future economic growth outside of the wetlands 1. All MDE permits have been approved and will be provided. 2. It is incumbent on the Successful Vendor to not disturb the ground in the wetlands and only remove the trees and ensure that everything is cut to the ground 5. Clear and grub everything within 60 feet of either side of the taxiway prior to the existing gate along taxiway golf. 6. Past the fence, along taxiway golf, it will be tree removal only. 60 feet either side of the taxiway. 7. As depicted in the attached diagram it will be clear and grub all shaded areas with the bid costs shown as cost per acre 8. Total area is estimated to be <5 acres
