Holly Avenue Roadway Improvements

Project includes the street reconstruction and water main installation of Holly Avenue in the Village of Fox Lake. The proposed improvements vary (see Project Plans for additional information), but typically include the undercut and stabilization of the water main, full depth asphalt replacement including, placing Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, Mix ‘D’, N50, over Hot Mix Asphalt Binder Course, IL-19.0, N50, as shown on the typical sections, culvert replacement, and drainage improvements. The contractor is required to maintain access for local traffic and emergency vehicles throughout construction, and a minimum of 48-hour notice for residents of any driveway access closures. Improvements shall also include Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter Removal/Replacement, Pavement Markings, Parkway Restoration; Gravel Shoulder, and all other work and materials necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans, standard specifications and these Special Provisions.
