Deyoung Park Washing and Retreatment of Wood Structures

The selected Contractor must have the capability to perform a full turn-key project for the DeYoung Park Washing & Retreatment of Wood Structures. DeYoung Park underwent improvements in 2018 creating a wonderful park and community space including a central wood structure called the Treehouse. All wood structures/furnishings were finished with Penofin Verde “Natural” color per the manufacturer’s recommendations. The Scope of Work for the project is to preserve the park’s wood structures/furnishings and maintain a like-new appearance of the wood. The last treatment was completed summer of 2020. Cleaning/pressure washing, prepping, and re-staining of all wood surfaces shall be pursuant to Penofin Verde’s recommendations. The design drawings and specifications attached herein provide a reference of what the wood structures/furnishings were originally designed and finished with in 2018. Also included are some pictures of the Treehouse and boardwalk.
