Marberry Arboretum Trails and Parking Lot - Phase I

The work consists of construction of a new parking lot with HMA and/or concrete pavements including an accessible parking stall, ADA compliant curb ramp, sidewalk, storm sewers, accessible pre-engineered pit toilet, and electric service & lighting for new parking lot. A pre-bid conference is not planned at this time. Technical questions regarding interpretations of the bidding documents shall be directed to Sean C. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Carbondale Park District, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Carbondale Park District for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Carbondale Park District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities, and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract.
