Description

The project consists of the expansion of existing Lake Intake Pump Station, construction of Pretreatment Trains with rapid mix, flocculation basins, and plate settlers, retrofitting existing membrane system with new membrane system and associated component equipment and system, construction of a new chlorine contact basin, expansion of the High Service Pump Station, demolition of existing chemical system and, construction of new chemical bulk storage and feed facility, new raw sludge pump station, sludge thickeners and thickened sludge pump station, addition of a second backwash waste clarifier and a new recycle pump station, installation of 24-inch water line on-site to serve a new 794-foot pressure zone, and associated architectural, structural, building mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and SCADA, and site civil improvements. Any contract awarded under this solicitation is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of federal law, the EPA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program, the Department of Labor (DOL) Equal Opportunity in Employment requirements, and the Davis-Bacon Wage Rate requirements The City of Pflugerville reserves the rights to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities in proposals received; to eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted; the right to award any parts or combination of parts of the project it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas.
