Description | BID requests for interpretations to be submitted by 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 General Specifications: Washington County is requesting competitive sealed bids for a general contractor for the Renovation of the Circuit Clerks Office. Requirement: Respondents failing to comply with any of the following requirements will not be considered for the evaluation and award process: Each respondent is required to fill in every blank and shall supply 100% of all of the information requested within each section; failure to do so may be used as a basis of rejection Scope of work: 10.1 Demo Existing Walls a. Removal of debris 10.2 Demo Existing Floor Coverings a. Carpet, Cove Base b. Proper Disposal 10.3 Build new pony walls approx. 4' tall a. Frame walls using -3-5/8" Steel Studs b. Install 5/8 drywall on both sides 10.4 Finish New Walls: a. Tape, mud and float drywall on new walls b. Prime and paint walls to match existing c. Re-Finish existing walls in existing hall d. Paint existing wood window trim, wood door trim and wood doors black 10.5 Install New Glass storefront windows and doors in new wall to a height of approx. 8' below ceiling Height 10.6 New Millwork in conference room 10.7 Install Electrical a. 19 - General use receptacles per design b. 8 - Above counter receptacles in conference room c. Reuse of existing circuits made available during demolition d. New circuit as required e. Back boxes and stub ups for low voltage wiring per design f. Data back box and stub up at each office drawn g. Data Cabling (one drop to each office and 2 drops to conference room) 10.8 Install new flooring to match existing. 10.9 Paint entire workspace a. including wood trim and doors 10.10 Installation of Smartboard in Conference Room 10.11 Installation of Overhead Projector and Screen in Conference Room ***ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED TO BUILDING CODE |
