Description | Community Unit School District 300, Kane County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for 2023 Summer Renovations - Bid Release 2. This project includes the following trade packages: 06A-2 General Trades (including concrete, masonry, steel, and paint), 09F-2 Flooring (including resinous), 22A-2 Plumbing, 23A-2 HVAC, 26A-2 Electrical, and 27A-2 Low Voltage. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope and labeled 2023 Summer Renovations - Bid Release 2 and the bid release, the date and time of the bid opening, the Contractors name and address, and the Trade Package. A bid day label is supplied in the project manual. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work includes toilet room renovations at Jacobs High School; flooring at Sleepy Hollow Elementary School; intercom replacement at Eastview Elementary School and Liberty Elementary School; acoustical wall panels and intercom replacement at Westfield Community School. All Contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last twelve months. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this project. Revised rates will apply for the duration of the contract. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Community Unit School District 300 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities.
