Description | Construction of the Sidewalk & Pedestrian Mobility Improvements for Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 151. Scope of Work of the Contract includes providing bonds and insurance; construction of approximately 3,630 linear feet of 5-1001 (5') wide, 4.5-inch (4.5") thick concrete sidewalk, 7,800 linear feet of 6-foot (6') wide, 4.5-lnch (4.5") thick concrete sidewalk, 4,420 square feet removal of existing brick pavers within extreme event swales, construction of cross-walks across Rumson Drive and Joan Collier Trace Including all striping and signage required, construction of 8 ADA ramps, as well as the connection to existing sidewalks. The project is located north of S. Firethorne Rd. between Joan Collier Dr. and W. Firethorne Rd. within Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No.151. The project is in the City of Fulshear Extraterritorial Juris- diction in Fort Bend County (Key Map 483-K). Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bid- der will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. By submitting a Bid, Bidder ac-knowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed, or agreed to using an Electronic Signature, as defined by and in accordance with Owner's Electronic Signature Rules for Construction Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which In the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 days from the date bids are open. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Coda, may apply to this Bid and/or Con- tract and the Contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated ii the Contract-or knowingly or Intentionally falls to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. |
