Description A. This project will provide construction improvements including all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to develop Phase 1 of the City of Salisbury Town Square as shown on the approved Construction Documents. The project will ultimately provide a pedestrian recreation area and temporary Food Truck Parking with electrical service in a previously underutilized section of City owned land on the west side of the City Parking Garage. A Traffic control plan will be required. B. The scope of work will include mobilization; providing temporary and permanent traffic control including relocation of traffic signal; demolition, furnishing and installing curb and gutter; furnishing and installing vehicular concrete pavers; furnishing and installing the stone seat wall; furnishing and installing Filterra with Sedimentation Chamber (or approved substitute) and associated piping; providing and installing site furnishings; furnishing and installing pavement demarcation and curb markings; furnishing and installing electrical connections and lighting; installation of landscaping; and providing Erosion and sediment control. C. The work area will consist of land between the east side of South Division Street and the City Parking Garage, the right-turn lane on westbound Circle Avenue, and portions of land surrounding the south sides of the City Parking Garage (Tax Map 107, Grid 0015, Parcel 0881). The work area limits are defined by the Limit of Disturbance line as shown on the Construction Documents. The limits of the area of work are further defined as extending five (5) feet from the face gutter along the unnamed alley to north of the City Parking Garage; five (5) feet from the face gutter along Camden Avenue to the West; and five (5) beyond the proposed face of gutter along Circle Avenue; and along the face of parking garage to the north along Circle Avenue and east along S. Division Street. D. The City will provide the successful Contractor with the following information: 1. Eastern shore Regional GIS Cooperative (ESRGC) is developing a comprehensive spatial database that will include the features of the City’s water system including, but not limited to, etc,; 2. Existing: 3. Water; 4. Sewer; 5. Stormwater; 6. Utility drawings.
