Description

Canterberry Parkway Redundant Fiber Optic Interconnect All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Bid. The vendors can upload their bid bond when responding online. The bond will be retained by the Town as liquidated damages ifthe successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a Contract and Performance, Payment and Maintenance bond in accordance with his bid when notified ofthe award. The extent ofthe work is approximately as follows: 12,500 linear feet of 2 inch bored conduit and 13,250 linear feet offiber optic cable installation. Work also includes but not limited to pull boxes and traffic control. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the time fixed for closing them. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, to waive technical defects accordingly as the best interest ofthe Town may be served, may reject any and all bids, and shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as determined by the Owner.
