Description

Any bids received after the time for opening cannot, and will not be considered The general nature of the Work is as follows: The Work includes the installation silicone roofing for the East Parking Garage. The Work also includes cleaning and preparing the roof surfaces for silicone roofing installation, flashing grade silicone installation, and replacement of roof drain dome covers. The project includes a base bid and two (2) alternative bid schedules. SIA will award one schedule only to the successful bidder based on available budget for the project Base Bid Schedule A includes a roof coating thickness for a 10-year warranty period Alternative Bid Schedule B includes a roof coating thickness for a 15-year warranty period Alternative Bid Schedule C includes a roof coating thickness for a 20-year warranty period Contract award will be made on September 15, 2022. The Contractor will be expected to procure materials and be ready to start construction in September 2022. Each Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory evidence of competency to perform the proposed work within the time specified, including; Written statement covering the bidders past experience on similar work List of available construction equipment needed to complete the work on time References with knowledge of the Bidders competency to complete the work for this project Questions during the bid period and inquiries regarding bid results (after bid opening) should be directed to the Parking & Ground Transportation Department of Spokane Airports, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. by contacting Chance Abbey at (509) 455-6445 or cabbey@spokaneairports.net. A contract according to the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Addendums (if applicable) shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashiers check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.
