Description

Work includes there are more than 2000 County-owned culverts carrying streams and storm water under County Roadways, it is vital that these structures be maintained in working order so the function as intended, providing safe passage for vehicles travelling on County Roads. Failure to immediately rehabilitate falling culverts can lead to loss of roadway fill, sinkholes, unsupported waterlines, gas lines, sewer lines, electric lines, and communication lines which can lead to unforeseen traffic accidents, catastrophic water, gas and sewer line breaks, and/or loss of vital utility services to residents of Montgomery County. MFD Goal: 21%
