Description

The contractor will pump out and empty septic tanks located in Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of the waste in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations. The contractor will adhere to the national, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes as applicable to this work. The contractor will install all material and complete all work in a first class manner. Any materials or equipment installed that does not present an orderly and reasonably neat workmanlike appearance and operation must be removed and replaced when so directed by the Executive Director of JPPM or a designee at the contractor's expense. The contractor will complete this work within 60 calendar days upon receiving the authorization to proceed. Contractors may utilize their standard bid form, but please include this filled in and signed IFB. In addition, the contractor will submit Bid/proposal affidavit. Conflict of Interest affidavit and disclosure. Licenses or certifications. And the certificates of insurance. Bids must be received by the due date. JPPM will regard any bids received without the required paperwork, after the due date, or without the completed IFB as non-responsive. Bids may be emailed or mailed to the address as noted above. This IFB may be cancelled, and any bids may be rejected by the State when it is in the best interest of the State to do so. The Selection Committee will choose the bid based on the most favorable evaluated bid price. If the contractor notes any defects while performing the work, during diagnosis, and/or start and operational checks, the contractor will provide the Executive Director of JPPM or a designee an immediate verbal notification followed by a detailed report within five business days of the service day indicating what components require further work and/or replacement, any recommendations, and costs. Additional services are subject to prior approval. The contractor must leave the job site in as good or better condition as it was found before commencement of the work. The contractor will remove all defective parts and dispose of offsite unless requested otherwise by the Executive Director of JPPM or a designee. Bids must include all applicable labor, overhead, equipment, materials, incidentals, and services necessary for and incidental to complete this work. The contractor is providing any work, materials, and supplies not specifically mentioned but reasonably implied for the complete, safe, and satisfactory completion of the project as if specified herein. Payment will be made for actual work performed and parts, material, and incidentals used. Final cost will not exceed the amount indicated in this bid, to be invoiced upon completion of the work.
