Description | For Snow Plowing services at designated residential locations throughout the city of Parma for 2022-23. There are eleven (11) separate routes available for award with each having between 8 and 15 driveways within close proximity to each other to maximize time. The city will select the lowest and best bidder for each Route and assess the Bidder's qualifications and Capacity/Limitation and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are encouraged to bid as many routes as they can handle. The City of Parma offers free Snow Plowing services to qualified Senior and/or disabled residents. If selected as the lowest and best bidder, the following requirements must be met: 1. Contract period for Snow Plowing services is December 1st, 2022 through March 31, 2023. 2. Contractor shall complete their route within 16 hours of being called on by the City. 3. Contractor will only be called on for snow events in excess of 5". 4. Contractors shall add the City of Parma as an insured to their policy and carry liability and property damage insurance in the minimum amount of $100,000 for each occurrence and $300,000 in the aggregate. A copy of this policy must be submitted prior to final Contract. 5. Selected Contractor(s) must be registered with the Parma Building Department prior to December 1, 2022. 6. Contract price for services will be paid by the city of Parma upon the receipt of Invoice as specified in General Specifications. 7. Contractor CAN NOT use subcontractors. The Director of Community Services & Economic Development reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time for just cause (poor performance, damages, citizen complaints). |
