Bush Road Community Sewer – Green Lake Township

The proposed collection system design will include a Septic Tank Effluent Pumping (STEP) system for 20 of the 24 homes in the Special Assessment District plus will include one lateral stub to the remaining four (4) parcels. Each homeowner will be responsible to supply power and an external disconnect switch for each individual control panel. A low-pressure sewer line will be installed via directional drill methods along Bush Road to serve the 24 parcels and will be located within the Bush Road ROW. Depths of sewers are expected to be approximately 6 feet. Each home will have a lateral connecting the STEP chamber to the main and a shutoff valve. Dewatering will be required where laterals are connected to the force main and where new STEP chambers are to be installed. An air release valve and four cleanouts will be installed on the low pressure main.
