Description The work includes the rehabilitation and upgrade of two existing wastewater treatment units located at the Encanto Real Utility District Sewage Treatment Plant in North Harris County. The original plant consists of dual treatment trains with rated capacity of 250,000 gallons per day (GPD). This project will add a third treatment train with 125,000 GPD capacity. The original plant is of precast concrete construction, and was constructed with rebar protrusions, keyway, and starter walls for the addition of this expansion. The work also includes the removal and replacement of existing equipment as indicated on the Drawings and installation of two blower buildings with slabs, blowers, chlorination and dechlorination equipment and electrical/instrumentation equipment. The roof of the aeration blower building will support new screening equipment, a 3-way splitter box, and associated piping. Other miscellaneous work includes repairs to control building and clean, blast and paint all exposed piping. If funds are available, an emergency engine/generator set will also be installed. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and personnel required to complete all phases of the project.
